Children's Hospital's mission is to take care of the health problems of infants, children and adolescents from birth to 16 years old. The Children's Hospital has developed leading-edge services and centres of competence in several areas, including organ transplantation (lung, heart, kidneys, liver), endocrinology and diabetology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, cardiology,respiratory medicine or neonatology. It receives more than 50,000 patients per year for outpatient and takes care of 10,000children and adolescents hospitalized for more than 24 hours.

This organisation represents the German speaking patients of Switzerland. It has a very close relationship with the German organisation Morbus Wilson e.V.
The association organizes an annual meeting and some regional meetings during the year.
