The departments of Hepatology and Abdominal Transplantation are internationally renowned and run the largest liver transplantation program in the country (60-70 transplantations per year).</p> <p>For the follow-up of Wilson's disease and other neurometabolic diseases, there is a close collaboration between internists and neurologists, and a joint neurometabolic consultation. The Liver Unit has an excellent and longstanding clinical and fundamental research reputation.
