Children get referred to our clinics because of prolonged jaundice, in other cases liver disease presents in their teenage years and some children present with sudden liver disease. In all cases a comprehensive high quality service is provided for children and young people up to 18 years of age with any hepatological condition. Our service is for inpatients and outpatients. Some conditions require liver transplantation therefore we cooperate with liver transplant centres.
