Second Department of Neurology, Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw is Poland's only centre for diagnosis and research dealing with adult patients with Wilson's disease. Since the 50's of the twentieth century under the supervision of the Institute there were over 650 people with Wilson's disease. The clinic can provide full diagnostics - genetic copper metabolism, Wilson's disease, and medical care, depending on the clinical form of the disease.
We work with health centres from across the Polish patients consulting for all interested centres, while collaborating with other centres in Europe and worldwide dealing with Wilson's disease.

The Children' s Memorial Health Institute is a central referral hospital for Poland.
It is the only liver transplant centre for children in Poland. The Departement of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Immunology takes care of children with various liver, GI and nutritional problems.
There are about 100 children with Wilson disease in the database. Coordination of diagnosis and therapy of children with Wilson disease in Poland.
